Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, one of the popular telecom unit of Reliance Industries is the second provider of LTE network in India. Reliance Jio took an initiative and tested their 4G network at a Techfest event in IIT Mumbai campus held in the month of January 2014. Last year, many other network service providers started offering 4G network services.

1. Andhra Pradesh
Warangal is the first district in Andhra Pradesh to host 4G network services. While inaugurating eShiksha services, Minister said that Government of India plans to provide 4G network connectivity in various districts such as Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Tirupati and Karimnagar in the first phase.
Ahead of the commercial launch, one of the network service providers Aircel is on its way of conducting 4G LTE trial runs in Hyderabad.
In the month of July 2014, Aircel launched 4G services in four circles Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, and Odisha.
2. Delhi
Airtel has chosen one of the popular Chinese handset makers Huawei in order to deploy 4G services in Delhi. The launch has already initiated in the year 2014. Idea cellular networks also announced that it will be providing its 4G services by focusing on six strategic markets of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Punjab, and Haryana. Reliance also launched its 4G services in Delhi.
Aircel is also planning to roll its 4G services starting from Chennai. Vodafone has launched its 4G services in India last year.
Meanwhile, Airtel is ready for expanding their 4G world, but the cities are not yet announced. Reliance’s 4G rollout is planned to begin in Delhi. Vodafone India plans to expand coverage to Delhi by the month of March 2016.
3. Tamil Nadu
Aircel has selected the popular Chinese smartphone maker ZTE to expand its 4G LTE network in India.
In the first phase of deployment, ZTE will expand its 4G LTE network for the service provider Aircel in Chennai, other places of Tamil Nadu and some other business cynical circles. Since May 2015, Airtel had also partnered with Samsung India to introduce 4G services in Chennai, on a trial basis.
Aircel has become the second telecom company after Airtel, to provide 4G network service in Indian states namely Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, and Odisha. Aircel holds 4G spectrum in a couple of areas such as West Bengal, and North East.
4. Kerala
It is a good news for the people who own 4G smartphones in India. Kerala has been experiencing its first 4G service via the Reliance Jio service provider since 28th December 2014.
The founders of Reliance industries Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh Ambani announced their plans to roll out a 4G test in Kerala and other Indian states as well. The Reliance Jio company is also planning to make 4G service available in 5000 cities and 6 lakh villages all over India.
Vodafone India launched its 4G network services in Kochi on December 8, 2015, on the 1800 MHz FDD-LTE band (band 3).
Airtel has planned to roll-out 4G network services Kerala in various places that include Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Kannur, Thrissur, Kollam, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Palakkad. Reliance Jio will be offering 4G network services, both voice, and data services.
The speed of the 4G network will be 49 Mbps that supports downloading movies and videos in a faster and easier way.
5. Karnataka
Bengaluru/Bangalore which is the capital city of Karnataka is one among the two to avail first 4G network in India. Bharti Airtel is the first network provider in India to offer such 4G service on 14th February 2014.
Vodafone India plans to expand coverage to the Bangalore city by the month of March 2016.
Currently, Airtel is the only service provider offering 4G LTE network in Bangalore. 4G network range in Karnataka is available in 32 places that are mentioned below.

Airtel offers 4G network in West Bengal’s capital city, Kolkata. Vodafone India plans to expand coverage to Kolkata by the month of March 2016.
There are totally 16 areas in which 4G is available in Kolkata. Reliance has planned to start 4G service in Kolkata and expand to cover 700 cities, including 100 high-priority markets in 2015.

In the month of July 2014, Bharti Airtel expanded its 4G services to many cities in Punjab that include Amritsar, Patiala, Hoshiarpur, Ajitgarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Phagwara, and Kapurthala.
Until July 2014, Customers in these cities access 4G services through data cards and Wi-Fi modems on various devices such as Apple iPhone 5S and 5C, XOLO LT 900 and LG G2 (model D802T). Totally, there are 8 different places where 4G network availability is witnessed in Chandigarh.
