3 Tools to Remove or Delete Tweets from Twitter Account

These three tools are really very helpful to delete all the tweets from our Twitter profile.

1. TweetDelete

TweetDelete is one of the useful tools for people who want to reduce or limit the amount of data in their Twitter account. Let us see how it works.

Steps to Delete tweets from our Twitter account with TweetDelete

The steps to delete a lot of your tweets with TweetDelete are as follows:

1: Enter the web and check the box to accept the terms: 
In case you want to read the terms of use before accepting them, click on TweetDelete terms and then accept their policy.
2: Login 
Click Sign in with Twitter.
3: Twitter Account access
Click Authorise the application.
4: Choose a period of time from the drop-down menu
Here you can choose the tweets that you want to delete based on their age. It is possible to choose a period from one week to a whole year.
5: Deleting Tweets
Check the box next to Delete all my existing tweets 
6: Uncheck the ‘Post to my feed’ box 
Otherwise, TweetDelete will send a tweet for you stating that you have used the service.
7: Click Activate TweetDelete
TweetDelete will remove all tweets within the selected time period.
8: Go to https://twitter.com/settings/applications
You’ll see a list of apps that have access to your Twitter account.
9: Finally, click Revoke Access next to TweetDelete
This will disable the connection between TweetDelete and Twitter.

2. TWITWIPE

TwitWipe allows you to delete all the tweets written to a particular Twitter account and only removes the tweets that have been posted to the account in question but not what others have posted about the account.

The steps to delete a lot of your tweets with TwitWipe are as follows:

1: Get started with TwitWipe
Go to the web and click Get Started 
2: Enter the Solve Media puzzle words
Before you can use the service you will have to enter a few words of security in the lower right corner of the screen.
3: Click Authorise the application
In case you are not logged into Twitter, you can do so on this screen.
4: Press Yes to confirm
Remember that this is permanent. This red button is located on the left side of the page, just below your Twitter alias.
5: Click Sign Out 
This will close your Twitter session on TwitWipe.
6: Go to https://twitter.com/settings/applications
You will see a list of the applications that have access to your account.
7: Finally, click Revoke Access next to TwitWipe
This will disable the connection between TwitWipe and Twitter.

3. CARDIGAN

Cardigan  is a service that helps you find and delete old tweets. In addition, it also records the contents and metadata of your available tweets to the public.

Cardigan – Steps to Remove or Delete tweets from Twitter account

The steps to follow to erase most of your tweets with Cardigan are:

1: Go to Gocardigan website
Go to the web and click on Browse Tweets 
2: Click Authorize the application
In case you are not logged in to Twitter, you will be prompted to do so.
3: Click on Delete All
This button is located at the top of the page. Remember that deleting your tweets is permanent.
4: Click Delete to confirm
Although Cardigan will redirect the browser to your home page, you will be eliminating your tweets in the background.
5: Go to https://twitter.com/settings/applications
Once your tweets have been removed, it’s a good idea to revoke Cardigan’s access to your Twitter account and it will appear in the list of applications with active access.
6: Revoke Access
Finally, click Revoke access next to Cardigan, so it is no longer linked to your Twitter account.
