Content Prohibited on Facebook: Everything You Should Not Post on Feed

From pictures of your naked children, pictures in which you see a female nipple except for some exception or confess a crime: none of this is allowed in Mark Zuckerberg’s RRSS.

The increase of false news, hate content and harassment carried out on social networks has led Facebook to increase control over the content published on its platform in the last year.

How to Prevent Facebook from Spying your Data (in 2 minutes)

It became clear that an algorithm could not do all the work to eliminate or censor inappropriate content. Therefore, many companies have increased their team of human moderators, and Facebook workers have new rules to follow.

The company of Mark Zuckerberg has published a report on the platform itself explaining what content is not allowed on the network and what they should do about it when they detect it, which is usually to eliminate them.

Content Prohibited on Facebook

Let’s see what are the contents that you cannot post on Facebook:

Photos of naked children (including your children)

While Facebook admits that many parents share photos of their well-intentioned naked children, these images can be used inappropriately by other people.

Photos of female nipples

Only allow images where a female nipple is seen when they are invoked (for example in a manifestation), of women breastfeeding or of scarring after a mastectomy. This includes the nipples of girls older than 3 years.

Doubting the truth of a victim

Calling a liar or claiming that a victim of a tragedy is not telling the truth in exchange for money is not allowed either.

Confess a crime

You can debate the legality of criminal activities but not confess a crime.

These are the 98 Facts that Facebook Knows About You

Try to buy drugs

The purchase and sale of drugs on the platform are not allowed. This includes expressing interest in buying them or asking if a person has.

Be insensitive or cruel

If you despise real people, making fun of their physical deficiencies, illnesses, disabilities or premature death, your post will be removed.

Nothing of naked butts

You can not publish a photo of a naked ass unless it is on a public figure with photoshop.

Delete Account on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yahoo & Skype Permanently

Encourage violent behaviour due to the outcome of political elections

It is also not allowed to publish contents in which you foment violence or violent activity after political elections.

Exhibits of sexual activity

Unless it is for humorous, satirical or educational purposes.

Hate speech or incitement to hatred

Any language that initiates hatred is forbidden on Facebook, although they do allow such comments when they are humorous and social or when they try to raise awareness or educate others, always with restrictions and that the intention is clear.

These are all the content that is not allowed to post on Facebook from now on. I can say that this is a good move by the Facebook team.

What do you think about these content restrictions? Is there anything else you want them to add to this?
