One of these features is the ability to set your caller tune to any song you want, given that you use your issued JIO number. That’s right! Caller tune service is free to access. There are 4 easy ways to set caller tune in JIO. They are as follows:

Method 1: Activate Any Song as Jio Caller Tune Through Message Service

Here, I will explain the step-by-step process to activate your Jio caller tune through the message service.

Step 1:

Go to the messaging app, and type “JT” (without quotes). See the below image for an example. Make sure you type it in capital letters, as this method is case sensitive.

Now, send the message to the number, ‘56789′. Once you send the message, you should get this reply from the JIO support number:

Now it will ask you to choose the song you want to set as your Jio caller tune.

• If you want to select the song from the Bollywood category, then reply to the same message by typing the number ‘1‘.
• If you want to select the song from the Regional category, then reply to the same message by typing the number ‘2‘.
• To select the song from the International category, then reply to the same message by typing the number ‘3‘.
• If you want a specific song, reply to the same message with the song’s first 3 words.
• Want to select a song from a particular movie? Reply to the same message by typing, MOVIE <Movie Name>.
• If you want to set a song from an album you like, then reply to the same message by typing, ALBUM <Album Name>.
• If you want to activate a particular singer’s song, then reply to the same message by typing, SINGER <Singer Name>.

If you want to set a Classic Rock (for example) song as your Jio caller tune, you must follow these steps.

• Once you’ve sent “JT” to the 56789 number, you will get a reply as shown in the above image. Then, reply by typing number ‘1’ and sent to 56789.

• Now, it will ask you to choose the option to activate the caller tune.
• The Song of the Day is just a popular song on that particular day.
• The top 10 songs are the best hit songs.
• Popular songs are songs that are popular in recent times.
• You can select from these options by replying to the same message by typing ‘1’ or ‘2’ or ‘3.’
• If the song you want is not on those lists, try with the song’s first 3 words.

Select the Jio caller tune from REGIONAL (USA, Canada, and so on)

If you want to set a Regional song as your Jio caller tune for free, you must follow these steps.

• Once you’ve sent ‘JT’ to the 56789 number, you will get a reply as shown in the above image. Now, reply by typing number ‘2’ and sent to 56789.

• Select the option that you want and reply by typing that number. For example, if you select option number 3, Telugu, it will show you all the regional songs in that particular language.
• You can select any song you want and activate it as your Jio caller tune for your number by replying to the same message with your selection.

International songs are English songs.

To select your favorite song based on the movie’s name, follow the steps below.

• Send an SMS to 56789 in this format.
• MOVIE <Movie Name> and send to 56789 number.

You will get a reply with all the songs that are present in that particular movie.

• You can now select the song you want from this movie and set it as your caller tune by replying to the same message with the option you selected.

Search JioTunes based on Album Name: (Jio Caller Tun Song List)

You can search for JioTunes based on your favorite song’s album. It is similar to searching based on a movie’s name, only with a slight change in the SMS format.

To select your favorite song based on the album’s name, follow the steps below.

• Send an SMS to 56789 in this format.
• ALBUM <Album Name> and send to 56789 number.

Search JioTunes based on singer’s name: (Raees Dialogue Caller Tune Jio)

Jio also gives you an option to search for JioTunes based on your favorite singer’s name.

To select your favorite song based on a singer’s name, follow the steps below.

• Send an SMS to 56789 in this format.
• SINGER <Singer Name> and send to 56789 number.

Step 3:

Once your song selection is complete, reply to the same message with that particular option number. You will get a confirmation message, as shown in the below image.

Step 4:

In the above image, it reads, “we have received your request to set up Closer as your JioTune. To set this as a tune for All Callers. Please reply to the message received from <56767XXXX> with Y”.

This message is asking if you want to assign your new caller tune to everyone who calls your Jio number or if you’re going to assign it to select numbers. If you’re going to set this caller tune for all members, reply with ‘Y’ to the message.

You will then get this reply from 5676-70040:

“Dear Customer, you have requested for activation of JioTunes service. To confirm, please reply Y to this message within 30 minutes.

Charges: Rs. 0.0

Validity: 30 days

Thank you,

Team Jio.”

Step 5:

That’s it! You’re done with the process. Your favorite song is now activated as your JIO caller tune. Try calling from another mobile to your Jio number to listen to your new caller tune! Again, this service is free from the Jio network.

Method 2: Set JioTunes Caller Tune Using JioMusic App 

Activating JioTunes caller tune through the JioMusic app is much easier than the message service method.

Steps to set JioTunes caller tune through JioMusic Apps

• First, install the JioMusic app on your Android smartphone or iOS device.

• Open the JioMusic app, then search for the song you want to set as your JioTunes caller tune.
• Open the song playing screen; there, you can see the option “Set as JioTune.”
• Click on the option, and your JioTune will be set!
